Serta’s marketing team also wanted bedroom interior images featuring their mattresses. This approach allows them to showcase their products in realistic, relatable settings, designed to match the style and quality of each product in their range. CGI is the perfect solution here, offering significant cost savings compared to traditional photography, especially when considering the logistics of designing and staging multiple physical room sets. We were able to design and style over 25 unique room sets quickly and efficiently, each crafted to reflect the corresponding mattress’s price-point—from approachable, modern spaces to more luxurious, high-spec environments for their premium products.

Setting the scene.

We were tasked with creating interiors that conveyed a high-end yet approachable design aesthetic. The focus was on clean lines, modern style and a lived-in, homely feel, with a palette centred around navy blues to complement Serta’s attainable mattress line. Our interior designers developed spacious environments with large windows to flood the space with natural light. Using warm wood floors and rugs added depth to the scenes, giving the visuals an attainable but aspirational quality that remains within reach for everyday consumers.

For Serta’s higher specification luxury mattresses, they wanted interiors that reflected the sophistication of premium homes. These spaces featured high ceilings, panoramic views, and dramatic feature lighting to create an expansive, upscale atmosphere. Architectural details and modern finishes were essential, with gold styling accents bringing a sense of opulence to the designs. Our interiors team also crafted environments that highlighted the luxurious nature of the mattresses, carefully selecting furnishings to elevate the entire visual experience. Our 3D artists brilliantly brought this vision to life, recreating the interiors with exquisitely crafted props of the high-end furnishings and ensuring the mattresses were rendered to perfection, making each scene feel both authentic and aspirational.

Silo images are a crucial part of any mattress manufacturer’s marketing toolkit. These immaculate, studio style images are ideal for websites, providing a professional and polished look. For Serta’s latest range, we created detailed CGI silos that showcase the mattresses from multiple angles. We also added close-up shots to highlight the intricate fabric details. Accuracy in 3D modelling and materials is essential here, as even minor errors in such detailed shots can detract from the overall realism and quality.

Support in every layer.

Another key visual type where CGI excels is in creating detailed cross-sections and cutaways, revealing the inner composition of the product and offering a unique view into its construction. For Serta’s mattresses, we’ve crafted cross-section silos - exploded views that display each layer of the mattress in clear, isolated detail. Additionally, we’ve produced cutaway views featuring a person lying on the mattress, illustrating how the materials deform and support the body during sleep. These visuals give customers a clearer understanding of the product’s structure, enabling easy comparison of features across the range. This approach sets Serta apart from their competition, building trust and helping potential customers make more informed decisions.
